We are looking for a talented Motion Designer to join their expanding team in Amsterdam.

Job Profile for Motion Designer

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Design and develop motion graphics and animations for various product features, including onboarding flows, tutorials, and UI interactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of motion design into product development
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual language and brand identity across all products
• Create prototypes and test animations to ensure optimal performance and user experience
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in motion design
• Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior designers
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers

Candidate Profile for Motion Designer

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Motion Designer in product design domains (apps, iOS, Android, web)
• A portfolio showcasing motion design work and experience
• Proficiency in Lottie and 2D animation
• Experience with 3D animation and/or VR/AR is a plus
• Knowledge of front-end development and coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
• Experience with design systems and style guides is a plus
• Certification in motion design software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender) is a plus
• Experiences in creating motion storyboards for clients, such as sizzle reels, films, and short pitch videos, are a plus
• Strong understanding of design principles, human-centred design, and user experience
