Description
Our client specialises in providing comprehensive solutions for financial planning, investment management, and business advisory. They focus on supporting businesses with strategic insights and financial expertise to navigate complex markets and achieve sustainable growth. With a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and risk management, the company serves a diverse client base, offering services tailored to meet the specific needs of each organisation.
They are currently expanding and are now looking for a Project Manager, who will be based at the Head Office in Amsterdam and will report to the Chief Operating Officer (“COO”).
Job Profile for Project Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all departments
- Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success
- Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement best practices to increase productivity, reduce risk, and improve quality
Onboarding Process Overhaul:
- Review the current onboarding process to improve both the client experience as well and streamline the internal process (to eventually house the onboarding process)
- Review and redesign onboarding documents
- Review and redesign the company system by working closely with the internal designer
- Ensure Client configuration visibility in the back office to allow the onboarding team to review the technical setup
- Remove technical team reliance by working closely with the development team to fully automate the Technical Client Setup and Configuration process in the back office
Customer Onboarding:
- Lead the Customer Onboarding process, ensuring client requirements are captured and project milestones, goals and deadlines are communicated and met
- Assess Bespoke Client Requirements against current functionality and where development is required, create a clear requirement document
- Work closely with internal and external resources to ensure that the new client programme is configured and tested and the delivery meets the expectations
Continuous Customer Review:
- Manage monthly client meetings to understand current client issues and new feature requests
- Gather new feature requirements from clients (ensuring features are assessed against current capabilities)
- Document and discuss new feature requirements with the COO for review and prioritisation
- Work closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure all clients are informed of new features and functionality before they are released
Candidate Profile for Project Manager
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification preferred
- Previous experience in Financial Services / Banking is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously from initiation through to delivery, with a focus on ensuring all stakeholders are continuously updated
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate teams and ensure accountability
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to achieve project goals
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure
