Our international Client is a global Fortune 500 company, leader in providing innovative consumer, commercial and enterprise technology with operations spread out in more than 60 countries. Their portfolio consist high-quality and secure products and services covering personal and business hardware and software needs.
Currently, they are looking for a Field Technical Consulting Manager to join their team in Germany.
Job Profile for Field Technical Consulting Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Work alongside a team of consultants, under the direction of the EMEA Project Management Office (PMO) leader
- Utilise feedback from knowledge built by the customer account teams
- Act as a single point of contact for customer escalations
- Manage high-impact customer situations to successful conclusions by conducting deep analysis alongside the support team
- Collaborate with all levels of customer representatives like Sales, Services leadership, and technical communities
- Responsible for Service Delivery and Optimisation
- Perform various troubleshooting diagnostics on Windows OS, PCA architecture, Cloud Services (Azure, AWS), IT deployment (SCCM, Intune), and Asset/Patch management tools
- Responsible for service delivery and optimisation by leading complex service delivery, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
- Perform customer site visits for product installations and troubleshooting activities
Candidate Profile for Field Technical Consulting Manager
- Must be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Substantial consulting experience with large corporations and a strong technical background
- Expertise in DWS, PC, and Cloud technologies, with a deep understanding of current market trends and emerging technologies
- Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior executives, including CXO-level stakeholders
- Comprehensive knowledge of asset management tools, patch management, driver management, image management, and modern IT deployment solutions.
- Solid understanding of PC architecture is essential
- Extensive experience with Windows operating systems, including Windows engineering, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- A passion to learn and use state-of-the-art technologies
- Able to travel to customer sites approximately 40% of the time (DACH region)
