Our client is a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry.

Currently, they are looking for a Business Assistant (Internal Audit) to join their dynamic, multicultural organisation in The Hague. 

Job Profile for Business Assistant (Internal Audit)
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Offer complex administrative assistance to the team, contributing to overall operational success
  • Maintain and update records and files as required
  • Maintain and update audit resourcing schedule
  • Process purchase orders, service entry sheets and invoices for the department in S/4HANA
  • Prepare monthly audit progress reports and other reports as needed
  • Participate in internal audit projects upon request
  • Prepare and analyse annual budget vs actual expenditure reports for the department
  • Handle telephone, email, and in-person inquiries, providing advice and forwarding more complex issues to the appropriate professional
  • Organise team events and travel arrangements
  • Support the Quality Assurance Program by reviewing audit files to ensure documentation requirements for planning, fieldwork and reporting are met
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual Audit Plan
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor or Group Leader

Candidate Profile for Business Assistant (Internal Audit)

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Vocational education qualification
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA is an advantage
  • Previous experience in an international or multilingual work environment
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach
