How to Land a Job with Blue Lynx
Let us take you on a journey. This is how it all works from the moment you register your CV until landing the job you want.
1) Registration
When you register with us, your CV lands in our system and we all leap up from our desks and let out a collective cheer!
2) 5-minute Call
Naturally, we want to get to know you. We want to understand your salary preferences and experience better. Over a 5-minute call, our Admin stars will get all this information down. When a suitable opportunity comes up, one of our recruiters will get in touch with you.
3) Application
When that happens, we will work with you to make sure you submit an irresistible application and that you are fully prepped to ace your interview. We will either do this ourselves or connect you with a professional coach to make sure you present at your best.
4) Interview
The application process really depends on the organisation you are applying to. It will usually involve submitting a written application, doing an interview and perhaps even an assessment or two. Rest assured, we will guide you every step of the way.
5) A Job Offer

If you are an English speaker and you are coming from a country in the EU, it’s much easier to find a job in the Netherlands. But, even if you are a Dutch national, finding and landing a job that you like can be difficult.
I have recently accepted a job offer but had my start date delayed because of the coronavirus. Is this normal?
With the uncertainty that COVID-19 has brought upon all of us, employers might choose to postpone employment. It is not the same as withdrawing the job offer. Be sure to stay in touch with the company and remain flexible.
What’s the best city to live and work in the Netherlands?
The cities in the Netherlands are different and yet, each has at least one thing that will make you consider it as your next home base. Amsterdam, of course, is a clear favourite for its museums, nightlife and events, but the Hague and the rest of the Randstad area are just as exciting and not too far away from each other either. So, keep your options open if you are moving to the Netherlands from abroad.
I’m not currently living in the Netherlands. Can I still apply?
Our experience shows that employers prefer applicants who live and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. If you are planning to relocate, please contact us after you do so.
