Our esteemed client is a rapidly growing global leader in industrial construction machinery with a strong presence across Europe and Asia. The company is known for its innovative solutions, high-quality products, and dedication to sustainability in the industry. 

Currently, they are looking for a Logistics Coordinator – Sales, Service & Operations Planning to join their expanding team in Almere.

Job Profile for Logistics Coordinator – Sales, Service & Operations Planning
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Plan and coordinate shipments with Japan headquarters and external stakeholders, ensuring timely updates in SAP and HubSpot, and managing spare parts logistics
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly shipping analysis reports to provide insight into logistics performance and potential improvements
  • Organise and maintain accurate shipping documents, ensuring easy access and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate investigations into shipment damages, missing parts, and other issues
  • Handle insurance claims promptly and effectively
  • Identify and evaluate potential alternative shippers for emergency, non-EU shipments to maintain continuity and minimise delays
  • Support the implementation of transport services for dealers, offer analytical insights and manage the coordination of transport operations as a project progresses
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to anticipate logistics needs and improve service levels
  • Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for logistics and transport coordination
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for shipping and transport recommending improvements
  • Provide support in forecasting shipment volumes and planning resources to meet demand

Candidate Profile for Logistics Coordinator – Sales, Service & Operations Planning

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in logistics or supply chain
  • Proven experience in machinery manufacturing, construction, or agriculture is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
  • Familiarity with SAP, HubSpot, and other logistics management software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues
