Description

Our client is a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry.

Currently, they are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic, multicultural organisation in The Hague. 

The successful candidate must possess strong payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. In the role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely dispensation of the company’s payroll processes.

Job Profile for Digital Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Process accurate and timely payroll for employees, including salary, wages, bonuses, commissions, and other compensations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to payroll processing, including tax withholding, wage garnishments, and benefits deductions
  • Coordinate with payroll and management on payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Generate reports and analyse payroll data for management and regulatory reporting purposes
  • Manage payroll software and systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and optimised for efficiency
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with IT or vendors for system enhancements or upgrades
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes, implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and management regarding payroll-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information and resolutions
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on payroll-related matters

Candidate Profile for Digital Payroll Specialist

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Completed MBO education, preferably HBO
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency with payroll software and finance systems. Experience with ADP Streamline, ADP IHCM2, ADP Perman and S4 Hana Cloud is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
