Our client is the biggest company in the Logistics field in Qatar. Established in 2004, they have an extensive regional footprint in the MENA region. With a global freight network of 600+ offices and a solid logistics infrastructure spanning over 3.8 million sq.m.
Currently, they are looking for an Accountant to join their office in Rozenburg, Amsterdam area.
Job Profile for Accountant
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Issue invoices
- Deal with clients
- Advise with the review of statements and payment follow-ups
- Check accurate and timely payment approvals
- Upload payment requests
- Manage cash flow forecasts
- Prepare accounts and tax returns
- Keep account books and systems up to date
Candidate Profile for Accountant
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting, or a similar field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Accountant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable is preferable
- Experience in the Logistics and Freight Forward industry will be considered an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
