Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the expanding company team in Vlaardingen.
Job Profile for Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Be part of a small technical team that deals with different equipment, from transport, processing equipment, sieving, crushing, packaging, palletising, packing and pallet transport
- Assist in designing, developing, operating, installing and maintaining systems and structures
- Troubleshoot common errors in factory machines and processes
- Detect defects and causes, assess the nature and extent of the defect and determine whether immediate repair is possible
- Perform corrective maintenance on all plant machinery and utilities according to the maintenance schedule to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Monitor the maintenance work order process and manage maintenance work orders
- Participate and contribute to team meetings
- Provide support and input for maintenance projects
- Report recurring malfunctions
- Support root-cause analysis of equipment failures
- Initiate and support continuous improvements to maintain and improve safety, quality and efficiency
Candidate Profile for Maintenance Technician
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- 2-5 years of experience in a Maintenance Technician/Engineering role
- Previous experience in a factory is a plus
- Background in welding is a big plus
- Electrical expertise would be an asset
- Communication skills
- Result-oriented and good at teamwork
