Our client is a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry.
Currently, they are looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their dynamic, multicultural organisation in The Hague.
Job Profile for Accounts Payable Analyst
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Process payables requests in line with the policy
- Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts and align with internal stakeholders and vendors on missing records and discrepancies
- Act as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders on cost control problems and infractions of contract
- Perform periodical tasks relating to the function (reconciliation, reporting, and review)
- Assist with the coordination of Internal Audit
- Maintain Internal Control documentation in the best order
- Review applicable procedures and suggest enhancements and improvements
Candidate Profile for Accounts Payable Analyst
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5 years experience in accounts payable with an accounting background
- Strong understanding of the payables process
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organisational, analytical and reporting skills
- Detail oriented
