Our client is the world’s leading internet entertainment service with more than 260 million memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries and feature films in a variety of genres and languages.
We are now looking for a Business Partner – Finance Procurement Operations for the EMEA region to join their team in Amsterdam.
If you have a solid understanding of the P2P (procure-to-pay) workflow, can analyse requests and transactions with high accuracy, and have experience in operational finance/accounting, then this role might be right for you.
Job Profile for Business Partner – Finance Procurement Operations, EMEA
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Business Support:
- Perform finance-related tasks – reviewing contracts, creating POs (Purchase orders), reviewing invoices, vendor management, management reporting, etc.
Accounting:
- Help facilitate a timely and accurate month-end close by owning the accrual process and explaining variance drivers
Financial planning and analysis:
- Ensure accurate coding of expenses to provide meaningful reporting
- Help track actuals to budget/forecast and communicate any expected variances
Candidate Profile for Business Partner – Finance Procurement Operations, EMEA
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Finance and/or Accounting experience with the general ledger since the work will have direct financial implications
- Experience with POs, reviewing invoices, P&L (Profit and Loss) vs. Balance Sheet for proper coding
- Solid understanding of the P2P (procure-to-pay) workflow
- Experience with Workday Financials, Anaplan and/or Tableau will be considered an advantage
- Able to analyse a large volume of requests and transactions with high accuracy
- Enjoy working cross-functionally
