Cash Management Analyst – English

Our client is a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry.

Currently, they are looking for a Cash Management Analyst to join their dynamic, multicultural, and multilingual organisation in The Hague. In the role, you will manage the company’s cash flows, optimise liquidity, ensure efficient cash operations, forecast cash needs and implement strategies to maximise cash efficiency. 

Job Profile for Cash Management Analyst
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Monitor daily cash balances across bank accounts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and lending/borrowing obligations
• Execute cash management activities, including positioning, concentration, disbursement and receipt processing, money market investment, etc.
• Prepare short- to mid-term cash flow and P&L forecasts and identify cash surplus and deficits
• Manage and monitor internal Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), identify mid- to long-term cash shortfall requirements
• Implement cash pooling structures to consolidate cash balances and optimise interest income/expenses across multiple entities/accounts
• Maintain cash management procedures and controls to ensure compliance with internal operation and ICFR guidelines
• Enhance cash visibility and reporting, prepare periodic reports on cash-flow performance on treasury metrics for management review
• Execute FX trades and Money Market (MM) investments following FX strategy and investment strategy in an accurate and timely manner
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and treasury teams to streamline cash-flow processes and resolve any discrepancies

Candidate Profile for Cash Management Analyst

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience in treasury operations, cash management, cash-pool management, or financial analysis, preferable in a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of cash flow dynamics, liquidity management principles, loan structuring, and financial instruments
• Familiarity with accounting principles
• Knowledge of TMS, banking platforms, and financial software applications
• Excellent analytical skills – able to interpret financial data, perform cash flow analysis, and forecast cash needs
• Effective communication skills – able to interact with cross-functional teams and senior management
• Detail-oriented approach with focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Able to prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
