Our client, a global asset management firm headquartered in Paris, is currently seeking a Client Relationship Manager for their Luxembourg office.

Job Profile for Client Relationship Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new business relationships in collaboration with the Sales, Legal and Compliance Teams for setting up the contractual, legal, and operational framework
  • Manage the KYC process in relation to the collection of the relevant documents and update of the CRM at the account/business contact level
  • Implement a new standard and/or tailor-made reporting in collaboration with the fund producers
  • Provide information on the full holdings/portfolios to clients upon request
  • Maintain the customers’/prospects’ data in the CRM in close collaboration with Sales teams
  • Manage all operational requests received in a team mailbox 
  • Manage and follow up on invitations to business in the CRM and provide the relevant data to Sales teams upon request
  • Assist the Marketing and Business Support teams in the organisation and budget monitoring of sales events (material, goodies, invoices)
  • Support for small-scale sales events for the delivery of documents and the logistics coordination
  • Support the Sales and business partners’ needs with other tasks 
  • Take ownership of issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the company’s platform products, procedures and systems, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the service offering
  • Liaise and grow strong relationships with superior colleagues
  • Be the first point of contact for the relevant market or region
  • Share market knowledge experience and assist with referred issues
  • Provide constructive feedback and ensure proper escalation to Management 

Candidate Profile for Client Relationship Manager

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Fluency in French and/or any other European languages will be considered an advantage
  • University Degree – preferred in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or other related studies
  • 1-3 years experience in a European Client Services position or a similar role 
  • Experience in the financial services industry such as Fund Investment or Asset Management is preferred but not a must
  • Experience in collaborating with international operations and customer-facing teams, exposure to other cultures/countries
  • Strong operational background, ideally with knowledge of the French (Southern European as a plus) mutual fund industry, distribution platforms and transfer agency operations
  • Strong customer service focus and proven analytical skills 
  • Proficient in major MS Office Applications 
  • Flexible to work in a multicultural, changing environment
  • Team player, accurate, able to work with deadlines and has a make-it-happen attitude
