Our client is a collective of experts focused on the future of Cloud, Security and Networking. They are on a mission to deliver an entirely new approach to security and connectivity.
They are currently looking for a Cloud Architect to join their team in the Netherlands and work together on project-based missions.
In this role, you will be the expert and work the way you want with colleagues who share the same values and interests. You will be part of a talented network consultants, engineers and architects who share the same knowledge and fix bottlenecks together on a hyper-high level.
Job Profile for Cloud Architect
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Guide developments at various stages of processes within cloud infrastructures
- Serve as a sparring partner for technical experts, project leaders, and management
- Draft requirement analyses
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture (i.e., roadmaps, target architectures/blueprints, high-level designs)
- Conduct GAP analyses
- Draft decision papers and present architectural designs and visions
- Establish, structure and supervise design offices/collaborations
- Resolve complex issues and advise customers
- Draft PSAs (Project Scope Agreements) within customer projects
- Guide and coach employees (e.g., solution architects, engineers) during implementation projects
- Ensure the security of customer data
- Design hybrid or private cloud infrastructures
Candidate Profile for Cloud Architect
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field is required
- Work experience as a Cloud Architect
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Azure Solution Architect Expert
- Experience with a cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google)
- Experience and/or certification in areas such as TOGAF, Archimate, SABSA, NORA
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux
- Knowledge of various modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Knowledge of cloud-native techniques and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, NoSQL databases)
- Familiarity with legislation and guidelines in the field of information security (BIO, GDPR, etc.)
- Familiarity with DevOps, Agile, Scrum, and/or ITIL methodologies
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Eager to learn and conceptual thinker
