Our client is a multidisciplinary firm offering worldwide independent services in consultancy, design, engineering, and project management across various sectors.
We are now looking for a Project Control Engineer to join their office in Leiden.
In the role, you will be reporting directly to the Site Portfolio Lead, driving the flawless execution of assigned Project Control processes to meet customer and business needs.
Job Profile for Project Control Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the site’s Capital Expenditure (CapEx) project-control processes
- Collaborate with the Site Portfolio Lead to maintain and analyse project information
- Conducting Cost Risk Assessments in adherence to departmental policies and procedures
- Update and monitor project financial and resource data within project management systems
- Elevate project financial management and divisional reporting through platforms (such as PowerBI)
Candidate Profile for Project Control Engineer
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience with CapEx is essential
- Qualifications or relevant experience in Finance or Accounting disciplines
- Proficiency in Project Management, Project Control, Scheduling, and Change Control
- Expertise in MS Office, MS Project/Primavera
- Strong reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel, SAP, Planisware, and Power BI is considered advantageous
- Able to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
